Nalangu or also known as Nalungu is an intimate ceremony, which is the purifying ceremony and is carried out separately at the bride and groom’s houses before the main ceremonies begin. In this instance it was done with  draping seperating them . They sat on either side , but not allowed to see each other as the purifying ceremony was performed by the  priest Uncle Joslynn
